N E W M O D E L Lexus engineers put considerable effort into creating an engaging driver experience, focusing on even the small details. The steering wheel features a change in cross-sectional shape throughout the rim circumference which allows for improved grip. Larger magnesium alloy paddle shifters are shaped for easier and more positive finger action. All information displays are arranged in order of importance in their proximity to the driver’s sight line. The instrument binnacle itself houses a descendant of the Lexus LFA’s innovative driver’s meter, and the centre console features a next-generation touchpad for the Remote Touch Interface. Throughout the new interior, the quality and finish of upholstery, leather centre console, stitched dash pad and Alcantara door trim reflect a level of Takumi craftsmanship and attention to detail for which Lexus is globally renowned. The pursuit of a sharper, more refined driving experience in the LC became the mission for the development team who also sought to maintain that superior Lexus ride quality befitting a flagship luxury sport coupé.
