TOOLBOX DEALER, TRUCK & CLUB 74 NEWS In Namibia, there are two Hino dealerships – Hino Pupkewitz and Hino Indongo. Hino Indongo started as Hino Okahandja. The name change to Hino Indongo was granted by Hino South Africa in 2015. Originally, Hino Okahandja was a Hino dealership in the Namibian town of Okahandja, but was moved to Windhoek some years ago, still under the old name. During the first half of the year, the dealership invested substantial funds to upgrade the ageing Hino facilities to Hino standards. While previously a service operation only, with a sales cubicle in the workshop, Hino Indongo now offers a proper service reception with parts sales, as well as comfortable sales offices which provide the prospective Hino truck customer with a quiet and private space for the sales negotiation. After inspection of the upgrade by Hino South Africa some months ago, Hino Indongo now proudly carries the Hino signage.
